Draw Near, Hold Fast, Stir Up
• Series: Hebrews
Hebrews 10:19-25 | Micah Dalbey In our journey through the book of Hebrews, we come this weekend to a distinct turning point in the letter. Up until chapter 10, the author has been dealing with the reality of who Jesus is and what he’s done. But in verse 19, he shifts focus to what God wants us to do in response. Because Christ died and rose again and is seated with God as our great high priest, what can we do practically to live into the benefits of his work on our behalf, while also countering our natural tendency toward drifting, discouragement and doubt? In a statement: Draw near, hold fast, stir up.
